Welcome to the Christianized Pegan Feast Page

Christianized Pegan Feasts References

Lets see if the "church" of today lines up with the Word of G-d.

  1. G-d has Commandments He expects us to follow, the "church" changes the Commandments, and changes the Sabbath to Sunday in stead of Saturday. There is only one day Blessed and set apart for worship that is Satruday Genesis 2:3.

  2. G-d sets Feasts in place and creates a command they will be observed FOREVER, the "church" decides to change to Pegan Feasts instead of the Feasts of G-d.

  3. G-d institutes the payment for sin is Blood, so the original Covenant is payment of blood would be paid by animals. The Addendum or New Covenant would be by the Blood of the Messiah. Definition of Sin – transgression of the Law. 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

  4. The "church" states are under Grace, we are no longer under the Law. GET IT STRAIGHT are no longer under the LAW OF SIN AND DEATH, not the Law G-d gave us to live by. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

  5. The "church" not only condons the "pegan feasts" but teaches them instead of the Feasts of G-d.

I hear the "Church" tell people that it wants to witness to the Jews about their Messiah, but I see a clear break from Torah ( first 5 books of the Bible) to Paganism.

The Church changed from Saturday to Sunday, but they miss the whole point of the Saturday Worship. Another thing is since the Torah is "translated" from Hebrew some of the words, didn't translate close enough to English. In Hebrew there are no J's, therefore the Messiah's name isn't Jesus, but Yeshua which is a conjuntion that means "G-d Saves" or the word "Salvation" which makes more sense when stated as follows:

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

The name Jesus has nothing to do with the statement... try this the way it is actually written.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Yeshua (Salvation): for he shall save his people from their sins.

Exodus 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Exodus 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the L-RD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 2:23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and His disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

Mark 2:24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

That "law" the Phaisees was talking about didn't come from Torah, it came from the Gamorah (which was written by man). Yeshua didn't have to obey "man's law" only G-d's law. One major problem with the "Church" is they moved so far from the "Law" they don't have any knowledge of what it is.

The "Church" talks about the Ten Commandments, but not only allows breaking of the Sabbath, but moved worship to Sunday (Pegan Day of worship).

Notice that G-d "ended" or completed His work on creation by resting on the seventh day of the week. The word "Sabbath" is derived from the Hebrew word Shabath, which litteraly means "rest" or cessation." God created the Sabbath by resting on this day and ceasing from creating material things. And He "blessed" and "sactified" – that is, set apart for holy use – this day and no other! By blessing and a sacitifying the seventh day Shabbath, G-d showed that His resence is IN this day in a very special way. For of all the days of the week, this one ALONE points to Him in an unique way as the true G-d,, the One who created and now governs the entire universe.

Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

The Law that was nailed to the cross wasn't the the "Whole Law" as you suggest! It was the Law of Sin and death.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

In 321 CE, while he was a Pagan sun-worshiper, the Emperor Constantine declared that Sunday was to be a day of rest throughout the Roman Empire:

"On the venerable day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country however persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits because it often happens that another day is not suitable for gain-sowing or vine planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost."

The Church Council of Laodicea circa 364 CE ordered that religious observances were to be conducted on Sunday, not Saturday. Sunday became the new Sabbath. They ruled: "Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday, but shall work on that day." There are many indicators in the historical record that some Christians ignored the Church's ruling. Sabbath observance was noted in Wales as late as 1115 CE. Francis Xavier was concerned about Sabbath worship in Goa, India in 1560 CE; he called for the Inquisition to set up an office there to stamp out what he called "Jewish wickedness" . A Catholic Provincial Council suppressed the practice in Norway in 1435 CE.

The Church has moved away from the commandment of G-d to thier own and dropped the Feasts of G-d not the Feast of the Jews and gone to Pagan Feasts.

Passover – Yeshua died - He is the Passover Lamb - Church changed it to Easter

Unleaven – Yeshua in grave - He is without sin - Church doesn't recognize it

First Fruits – He Rose from Grave – He is the first born of the dead – Church combines it with Easter

Shavout – Day G-d gave the Law to Moses He fulfills the whole Law – Church Penticost

Yom Kippur – (Repentance ) Feast of Trumpets – He will come out of the Eastern Sky with Shofar of G-d

Tabernacles – no more sun or moon there will be a new Heaven and new Earth, His Glory will give light.

Church was commanded to keep the Feasts of G-d FOREVER!

Passover

Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Exodus 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Unleaven

Exodus 12:17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

I guess it is ok for the "church" to change from the "Feasts of G-d" to "Pagans Feasts" because they didn't want to be associated with the Jews. The "Church" doesn't even know the "blessings" over the bread (challah) and the wine. That prayer alone is an instruction to the congregation. As a matter of fact the Jews (unsaved) don't understand the last part of the prayer they say over the bread. (a believer in the Messiah does).

Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen , and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Jeremiah 10:3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

Jeremiah 10: They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Jeremiah 10:5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Jeremiah 10:6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.
